Note the Tom Moore sign, the old street lamp. The things that shaped
like an "H" in the sky have something to do with holding wires together

about 1884. Located at present (1970s) site of Brackenridge Hospital
(14th and Sabine). Bed capacity at the time was 20 beds. |
Old
Capitol during the funeral of Gov. Andrew Jackson Hamilton, April
12, 1875. He was a known Union sympathizer. Hamilton
Pool in Austin is named after him. |
