History in a Baitcan

Whitney Dam was a post-war project completed in the early 1950s. The town that grew up around Morgan Lakeside Park got too big to be ignored in the 1960s and was officially recognized. The park has a marina and all essential business that a fishing village requires and the town's student attend classes in Kopperl. Lakeside Village's population was 375 in the late 1960s and has since grown to 226.
