History in
a Pecan Shell
First settled
in the late 1830s or early 1840s, its among the earliest settlements
in Lamar County.
Still had a school and a few residents in the 1920s.
Photographer's Note:
"This marker is in a development site. It is located about 5
miles south of Paris on CR12600."
