Directions
From the square in Fayetteville the water
tower is visible to the east. (Be warned - the square was not set up on a standard
N-S axis.) Head toward the water tower and turn right at the post office which
is right next to the water tower. This is FM 1291. Drive down across the railroad
tracks and turn immediately to your left. The cemetery gate is visible from here
- it's just 300 feet or so. |

The
names, monuments, language and funereal motifs on the markers make it seem like
you're visiting a Eastern European necropolis. The custom of displaying porcelian
portraits of the deceased is very much in practice here. |
