History on
a Pinhead
Named
after the nearby creek of the same name, both are said to be named
from Hermann Krebs, local man who served in the 4th Regiment of the
Texas cavalry during the Civil War. Population figures and reports
on the community’s history are unavailable.

Note:
This is another small place of the type that I love to track down.
There are no specific buildings now to identify it as a town, however
the road signs identify it as such. It now is what they call a “dispersed
community” of a few scattered residences and farm buildings. - Gerald
