History in
a Pecan Shell
Originally known
as Wiedes Store, this predominantly German-American community
was established in the 1880s and throve until the Great Depression.
Although it is still considered a community, residents are scattered.
The Immanuel Lutheran Church remains the lynchpin of the community. |
