History in
a Pinecone
Settled
around the time of the Civil War, the town had a school sometime around
1887, and a post office around 1900 which closed in 1912.
The Diboll Lumber Company operated two lumber camps nearby. The town
suffered the fate of many logging
communities in East Texas. |
