After
I beheld the hundredth gorgeously weathered and worn Tex.; the umpteenth hand
painted Tx. and TX, I decided to share the following sentiments with everyone
who ever dared… Never
abbreviate Texas! Ever! It's like Xmas for Christmas; a punch line without the
joke, or a kiss without the foil and that little ribbon thing. Not the same at
all. Some shortcuts
should never be taken. The same people who would never dream of putting their
unwrapped jelly beans in pockets or purses to become sticky lint bunnies, behave
as if they have no time to write all five letters in Texas. There are only five.
And if it is a time thing, then perhaps all those folks who are in such a hurry,
should consider moving to Iowa, Ohio or Utah. Tks…
