    Lost, Found and Missing

Indiana Nephew seeking info on Lost Uncle
    Breckenridge, Desdemona, Gordon or Cisco

His name was Cecil Louks and he was connected (possibly in an executive position) with the Lone Star Gasoline Company from 1921 into the 1960s.

It’s been 49 years since his death. His interment was in Palo Pinto County’s New Gordon cemetery in 1971.

He was born in Clinton County Indiana and after his departure for Texas the family didn't hear much thereafter.

Mr. Louks’ nephew Ronald Clidence of Anderson, Indiana asks if any TE readers may have crossed paths with Uncle Cecil.

Ponald reported that his uncle Cecil left Indiana before 1920 saying that he was going “to see friends.” Texas, being the friendly place that it is, means he could’ve been visiting just about anyone. Nephew Ronald writes: “When he left Indiana he left!"

The only clue so far has been a grainy photo of Cecil Louks in The April 10th 1942 edition of the Breckenridge American that includes a brief bio of his life up until that date.

Anyone with information of Cecil Louks or the Lone Star Gasoline Company, please write to editor@texasescapes.com
Letters will be forwarded directly to Ronald Clidence. - 6-11-2012
