This is the first
Val Verde County jail, built in 1888, and designed by Larmour and
Watson, the architects of the 1887
Val Verde County courthouse. It is on the courthouse square on
the corner of Mill St. and E. Losoya St. It was used as a jail until
1956 and now houses other county offices. |
