Wouldn't
it be wonderful
if this event occurred,
if we could migrate cross the land
like butterflies and birds
In winter, wing toward the south
then when summer heat arrives,
with hints from an internal clock
turn north for cooler climes
How nice it'd be, to fly freely
no limitations set,
just hop aboard the wind and soar
without fear or regret
Wish I may, take wing someday
with courage to compare,
to
those same birds and butterflies
who are brave enough to dare.
