The
Boogeyman creeps while children sleep
on tippeytoes, he slyly creeps
He licks his lips and gnashes teeth
then suddenly, upon them leaps
All children have in their wee heads
the fear of what lies under bed,
Their fears expand, that being said,
the great unknown is what they dread
Their mothers have their own intent
they threaten kids with mean comments,
If you misbehave, the Boogeyman
will eat you if you're being bad.
So frightened as they've now become
they fall in line, held under thumb
And pray to never sin again,
God save their souls from Boogeymen!
