With
all the city lights
our sky is sorely blurred
we cannot see the night
its stars and galaxies obscured
For all our worldly light
we have
become too blind to see
the sky is not as bright
as it used to be
What happened to the sky
where we could see afar
what's become of that good night
where we could wish upon a star
Now we are
compromised
our only sky filled with debris
forever marred by city lights
its starry nights only a memory.
