In
little boats
they bob and sway,
their only thought
to get
away
To go to fish
we must deduce,
is simply that
a lame excuse
Their only thought
to pass the time,
if truth be told
there's drink in mind
They do not care
if fish will bite,
they only come
for peace and quiet
To catch some fish
ultimately means,
that eventually
they must be cleaned
Forced to admit
they would confess,
they're not concerned
with catching fish
They just prefer
to relax a bit,
and on their rumps
so idly sit
In common then
all fishermen say,
the best fish are those
that get away.
