Love is a funny thing
sometimes it's loud
and blaring
like a trumpet
from the bandstand

other times it is
quiet and discreet
waiting silently
in the corner
for a chance

then sometimes it
can sneak up on you
and tap you on the shoulder
ask you if
you want to dance

you don't have to know how
just move your feet
follow the music.
