The Human Touch

Fondly
l remember when,
we saw eye to eye
and spoke to friends,
now we have
our phones instead,
and conversation's
sadly dead

We type, we text
try to pretend,
a gadget can be
our best friend,
in truth it doesn't
amount to much,
when we omit
the human touch.
