In a small corner,
a photo hung
depicting them when they were young,
So innocent, they can't
disguise
the tenderness shown in their eyes
The photo speaks, and all
connect
hung proudly where all can reflect,
Such youthful bliss expressed
in this
girl and boy, sharing a kiss
Now we remember with a tear
love they gave through all the years.
That love expressed was filled with
care
pure kindness always theirs to share
And though the obstacles
were steep
hand in hand, they sowed, they reaped
Mom and Dad, loved ever
so deep
now in this small corner,
mine to keep.
