The heart
beats on and on
day in day out

such a dedicated worker
it never gets a day off

it must deal daily
with the workings of
the physical body

and also with
the complexity of
the spirit
emotions
love

how it suffers
under all this stress
and strain

it is overworked
underappreciated

it needs a Union

the International
Brotherhood Of Hearts.
