NORMAN, OKLAHOMA

Who'd name a town Norman?
what an address!
who'd have the nerve
such a name to suggest?

Such a town should stay nameless
or hidden at best,
sooner or later
someone should confess

Why name a town Norman?
If I had to guess,
it must have been someone
under duress

Yet Norman is Norman
on the map I possess,
southeast of Edmund
both of them in jest.
