I
got the kind of trailer that sits on cinder blocks but it's prone to decimation
when a Texas tornado pops
I hear the wind acomin' makin' a fearful
whine it sounds just like a freight train comin' down the line
The
trailer is vibratin' although a double-wide it's nuthin' but a match box
and there ain't no place to hide
Clothes I was awearin' just a
few minutes ago been sucked up in the funnel cloud guess I won't need them
no mo
The pit bull known as Ringo blew off, I coulda cried he left
me unexpectedly
taken for a ride
While the wind's rotatin' misfortune's what it brings
I harmonize with nature as the wild tornado sings
Blowin' down the
trailer park down them cotton rows blow me down the interstate further
than I wanna go
Where I get to stoppin' hell if anybody knows
just hope I'm still in Texas and not in Mexico!
