I
never minded
work
it didn't bother me
I felt good doing it
it gave the body
a good feeling
it kept the mind going
full race
now in my later years
I still don't mind it
I enjoy it in a more
leisurely manner
without timetables
or deadlines
I remember
all that work
as murky shadows in
in the distant past
wonder how
I did it
in a sense
poetry is now
my new work
and oddly enough
my work has become
my play.
