Subject: Brady School
This is the Brady (McCulloch
County) South Ward School. It was built in 1936, according to
my Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps. In those maps, it was labeled as the
Brady Junior High School. I don't know when the South Ward school
designation came in; Brady also had a North Ward school as well so
this fits. We couldn't get any closer for better pictures, as it is
now a private residence; it looks like it has been subdivided into
apartments. It is at the intersection of W 4th and S High. This was
taken in April of 2007... Some old-timer might get a thrill out of
seeing them. - Stephen
