History on
a Pinhead
The community grew
around a switch
on the Texas and New Orleans Railroad. Although no town center developed,
there was a school and church. The region was settled by both Swedish
and Polish immigrants.
According to the Handbook of Texas: “By the early 1990s only a few
scattered farmhouses remained.” |
