in a Peanut Shell
Jonestown, being settled in the 1930s, missed the colorful
history that other towns were present to record. The town founders
were Emmet and Warren Jones. The town got around to incorporating
in the 1980s when it had a population under 700. It recorded 1,250
for the 1990 census and 1,834
for 2010. |
