Two Kerr
County Mystery Towns
Split Rock and Pebble, Texas
As shown on the 1920 map of Kerr
County, these place names did appear at one time. They may have
been railroad designations or have undergone a change of name since
1920. Or they may have disappeared entirely.
Perhaps a knowledgeable reader can supply some information.

Rock
I have a bit of information on Split Rock. It was never a real town,
more of a Kerrville suburb. When Schreiner University was founded,
Split Rock lost all traces of existence, other than the map. - William
