The Rio Frio
Oak

This
tree is somewhat hidden due to a hedge and fence directly in front
of it. It's crown blends into the landscape. The Friends of the Rio
Frio Oak have erected an historic marker, but the fence is festooned
with no trespassing signs and a good view of the massive trunk is
difficult - a photo nearly impossible.

Rio Frio Oak Tree
I thought you might like to have pictures of The Rio Frio Oak Tree.
These were made this week while we were in the area. The boy in
the picture is Luke Wines, son of Bob & Ronda. - Sincerely, Don
Eichler, Center Point, Texas, September 04, 2006
