History on
a Pinhead
The town appeared
sometime before 1909 alongside the tracks of the Pecos and Northern
Texas Railroad. The only population figures available are from 1933
when a mere 10 residents were present, 1949 which showed a total of
20 and 1980 which reported 25. That number has remained the same through
2000, although the town has been dropped from the detailed TxDoT Dawson
County map. |
