History on
a Pinhead
It is believed to have been named after early settler William Scherz.
Scherz had lived near to Lipan Springs. Little information is available
on Scherz. There had been a school in the 1930s, which was shown on
maps but the town disappeared - probably due to its proximity to San
Angelo. |
