Bio
I am a native Texan, born in South Texas. Houston has been my primary
residence all my adult life, although I have had second homes in London;
Montecito, California; and Tucson, Arizona, with plans to make one
of them my primary residence.
Cold and dampness drove me out of London, earthquakes made me reconsider
California, and injustice and corruption made me dislike Arizona.
In my quest, I saw the exciting western world from Dublin to Istanbul,
but it all led home to Texas.
I have published feature articles in Texas Monthly, Texas Highways,
Texas Business, Houston City, Houston Magazine, The Bryan Eagle, Absolutely
Memorial, Houston Home and Garden, TexasEscapes, and many other publications.
My goal in writing is to entertain readers while they feel happily
enlightened as a result. I don't write about politics, religion, social
climbers or porn.
I enjoy writing, reading, gardening, outdoor adventures, listening
to great music and minding my own business.
