Deep
in the Heart of Elsewhere

Duo:

From Barber Station to Language Learning
(Little Linguists
of Lahore - Class Three)

In a world where
opportunities are scarce for young individuals, it is heartening
to come across stories of determination and perseverance. Meet Joshwa
and Jess again, the dynamic brothers who have defied the odds. In
their recent appearance in the Little Linguists English class, they
again expressed gratitude for being enrolled in the program.
A Proud Heritage:
These brothers belong to a family rooted in hard work and commitment.
Their father used to work at a hair salon, but after losing his
job, he had to set up a hair cutting station in front of his house
and has been teaching his sons barbering while they attend weekly
classes at Little Linguists.
While most children their age would be engrossed in video games
or other recreational activities, these brothers have recognized
and embraced this opportunity.

Learning English
provides them with a platform to communicate effectively and assimilate
themself in a diverse and globalized world. The boys have passionately
expressed their desire that classes should be daily. The enthusiasm
demonstrated by the brothers has caused Little Linguists to rethink
and reassess their schedule.
