The little town
of Seymore
cain't be seen
no more, it's true
It got passed over by the railroad
and they closed
the local school
They had a country store one time
and a church that
filled with Baptists
But the pace got slow, as we all know
slower than
cane molasses
Old Seymore
cain't be seen no more
but I guess it could be worse
it's still here,
but known Officially as
"Rural Community, Dispersed".
