Rosenwald School near Henderson

Note:
"We took Hwy 84, then turned North on FM 95. The school is on the
right hand side of the road with all the brush cleared around it. Next to the
school is another building that has caved in, maybe an add on at one time? (see
picture 10)
Former
students of this African American school are trying to raise funds to restore
it. Their site can be found here - http://chsaa-rosenwald.org.
The doors are boarded up, but some boards had come loose. Fortunately I had a
spotlight with me to light some of the rooms. I treaded carefully as the floor
has large holes in some areas.
I am unfamiliar with this area, but did
notice there are a few old and/or abandoned structures along FM 95." -
