History in
a Pecan Shell
Olmos
Park has no 19th Century history and its 20th Century history began
late. The town, which is totally surrounded by greater San
Antonio was incorporated in 1940 when it's population was nearing
2,000. The city's high-water mark was reached in 1950 when 2,813 people
called the place home. |
"The fountain
in Olmos Park was completed in October of 2008. The triangular shaped
building behind it is one of the older buildings in the area and is
currently being renovated." - Photo courtesy Terry
