Note:
"The THC lists the architect as Preston Lee Walker, but the cornerstone
lists the architects as The Butler Company. Perhaps Walker was an
employee of the Butler Company?" - Terry

"The
cornerstone, though covered partially by the addition, is complete.
The one-story addition is on the rear side of the building with the
library behind that." -

Note:
The 1970s remodeling to the interior is quite evident in the courthouse's
district courtroom. During my visit, a courthouse employee told me
that many pieces of the courthouse's original furniture were donated
to Texas Tech in nearby Lubbock
for use in mock trials for their law students. - Terry
