southeast of Kerrville
on TX 173.
Kerrville-Schreiner
State Park has 517 acres fronting the Guadalupe River on the north
side and enjoys the Hill Country as its back yard to the south. Swimming
is allowed in the Guadalupe River and is at your own risk. The park
also has 7.7 miles of hiking and interpretive trails, picnic sites,
a boat ramp and rentals, and camping sites. The park is wheelchair-accessible.
A gift shop has souvenirs and concessions for sale. An amphitheater
is also available for entertainment. Pets are allowed on leashes. |
